Investment strategy

Investment Strategy is the basic document which defines the policy of investing the assets of the Open-ended mandatory pension fund Sava Pension Fund, managed by Sava Pension Company a.d. Skopje.

Ensuring financial security and a sustainable future for our members through growth in the pension savings value, is an integral part of the Mission of Sava Pension Company. In that regard, the Company is aiming at achieving an adequate long-term rate of return primarily taking into account the essential role of the mandatory fully funded pension insurance, the rate of increase in the cost of living and other basic system parameters of pension insurance.

To achieve its long-term mission, the Company determines a planned annual nominal yield rate of 4%. The projected nominal and real rates of return are based on certain assumptions and expectations the validity of which is reviewed at least once in every 3 years and may be changed in order to realize the mission in the long run.
