Inheritance of funds

In accordance with Article 145 from the Law on voluntary fully funded pension insurance, in case of a death of a member or a retired member of the voluntary pension fund, the money from the account can be paid out as inheritance.

The full text from the Article 145 from the Law on voluntary fully funded pension insurance is outlined below:

„In case a member of the pension fund dies, the money from the account of the member or the retired member become part of the inheritance procedures which subsequently follow the Law on inheritance“.

When a member of the voluntary pension fund is deemed as unfit to work by the Assessment Commission for within the Fund for pension and disability insurance of North Macedonia, he has the right, regardless of his age, to select one of the pension options.
